Drill Pipe

Drill pipes are long tubular sections of pipe that make up the majority of the drill string. They are typically a 31 foot long section of tubular pipe but may be anywhere from 18 to 45 feet in length.

Slotted Pipe

Slot and perforate on the pipe body to be slotted pipes. The types of slot are Perforated, Rectangular slotted, Trapezoid slotted, Bridge slotted, Wire wrapped screen, Mechanical cutting, Compound slotted pipe.

API Tubing

Tubing is a relatively small-diameter pipe that is run into a well to serve as a conduit for the passage of oil and gas to the field surface facilities for processing. Tubing must be adequately strong to resist loads and deformations associated with production and workovers. Further, tubing must be sized to support the expected rates of production of oil and gas.

API Casing

Casing is used for lining the complete borehole which has been dug into the ground to procure oil. Similar to the drill pipe, the oil well casing pipe is also subjected to axial tension, therefore they are required to be made from high-quality strong steel material. OCTG casing is large diameter pipe which are held in place in the borehole using cement.

Casing And Tubing Coupling

Normally tubing coupling OD maximum is 4 1/2”, as the tubing pipe is applied for the drilling activities (Inside the tubing is the sucker rod to drill/pump the oil), couplings type is more various and rigorous than casing, mostly used is thicken type upset coupling (Internal upset and external upset), for short is EUE coupling, it is the most favorable in tubing connections. Tubing with EU end (EUE) coupling connection also called UPTBG. Because of the end of the tubing is thickened (upset), the connecting stress is better than buttress coupling.

Drill Collar

API SPEC 7-1 drill collar is made with rolling or forging AISI4145H chromium molybdenum alloy steel. Therefore, it needs to control chemical composition and the content of trace elements effectively.
